what kind of foundation is best for dry combination skin?

Hey everyone, my forehead is generally a little oily but not unmanageable, my chin is where I break out the most- I've learned to deal with this and manage it to the best of my ability. My biggest problem is the random dry patches on my cheeks, bridge of my nose, under my nostrils, and parts of my jaw. It makes applying makeup so difficult. I exfoliate every morning and moisturize as needed without over doing it. But by the time my makeup is put on you can see the dry patches (flaky skin..ewww...), it's start's to look cakey in areas and blotchy in others! It's so frustrating, no matter how sheer I put it on! I don't want to have to spend a lot of money on new makeup.

I have mineral makeup and I don't like it at all, it doesn't work for my face.

I have dry/oily skin also, and I found a lotion that works extremely good. Clinique Moisturizing Gel is amazing. You only need a little bit and it makes your skin soft with no dryness. If you do happen to get it though, make sure it is the gel, it works better than the other product.
