cures for red blotchy skin?

I dont really have an acne problem, I mean I have the normal once in awhile breakout that most people do. But my problem is that I have very blotchy red skin. Exspecially around my cheekbone area and nose. I can cover with make-up just fine, but rarely do becuase I hate putting make-up on. I dont really know what kind of skin i have, it's not real oily and is only dry for like an hour when I wash it (with whatever soap I use). I would just like to know if there is any cheap easy, natural way of getting rid of this.

maybe you have eczema? either way...make sure when you wash your face, it is with COOL water. do NOT use hot or warm water. it should be cool. not cold... just cool. the hot water aggravates the "break out" even worse!! also, i would buy Cortisone Cream. They sell it over the counter in the supermarket. it's usually a tube with red and white writing on it. you may have some food allergies that is causing this that you are not aware of. it might only happen after you eat certain foods. i have eczema and usually i get red and splotchy after i eat eggs and wheat. if washing your face with cool water and putting cortisone on doesn't help... go see a dermatologist. oh, also, by the way, the face wash i use that i swear by is Aveeno Foaming Facial Cleanser. It's the Aveeno foam cleanser with the bright green top. It's the only thing that i have found in the 30 years of my life that has "calmed" my skin down. It's 6.99 or 7.99 ... and it is soooo worth it. just know that nothing will ever truly 100% eliminate a skin problem.. it will only lessen it and make it occur less frequently. i really hope this helps. i've been there before and i know it is uncomfortable. good luck! all the best :)
