skin gets blotchy when cold? DOCTORS/MEDICAL SMARTY PLEASE!?

ok well 1st things 1st, i've been sick since febuary. it started as some neurological thing, then went autoimmune, and now my doctor thinks i have fibromayalgia. we think it might be something post-infectious, and i tested IGM positive(but not IGG) for mycoplasma, which usually causes pnemonia but i never had a cough or anything, we think it might have gone to my brain or something. it's never been anything serious though. it also went to my stomach, i have some gastritis. so you know my "history" now, and so heres my question. now whenever it's cold, my skin gets like blotchy, its like kinda like a red paters or something on my arms, legs, a lot of places.

Well, this is probably a long shot, but you can take a look at the symptoms of cold agglutinin disorder (autoimmune) and see if it fits. It can follow an infection since that triggers the immune system. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_agglutinin_disease I'm sorry to say that there are so many rare disorders, many of them autoimmune, that you may have to do much of the research yourself. Google in as many of your symptoms as you can, then just read articles until you find the one that fits you. It will probably be hours of work at the computer, but you know your body better than anyone. Since you mentioned autoimmune, I'll throw this in for free. You should be very careful about vaccinations. My brother contracted Multiple Sclerosis (autoimmune) a few months after receiving some routine vaccinations. New research is linking many disorders to vaccines since they can over-stimulate the immune system in some persons and cause it to go haywire and turn on itself. Good luck, hope this helped a little...
